Terms and conditions

The Book Nook subscription voucher entitles the bearer to 1 paperback book/hardback book a month for 3/6/12 months (depending on the voucher type purchased) The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase books.

Cancellation rights

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of your goods. You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time during the subscription period by emailing info@booknookshop.co.uk

​ Payment terms

We will charge your account for payment upon receipt of your order each month via the Shopify or Paypal platforms. Your goods will not be dispatched until confirmation has been provided that your payment has been successfully processed.

Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order

You must provide us with a valid e-mail address. We will notify you by e-mail as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and associated details. An acceptance of your order will take place on dispatch of the good(s) ordered.

Delivery charges 

All of our prices are inclusive of delivery to the UK Mainland.

Delivery

We will deliver to the address you specify for delivery as part of the checkout process. It is important that this address is accurate. If it is not, the delivery of any replacement item may need to be covered by the buyer. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions. We will aim to deliver the goods within the timescale quoted on our website, but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date may be extended by a reasonable period. Any change in the address for future deliveries must be provided at least 1 month in advance, in order to ensure that items are not sent to an incorrect address.

Damages, Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges will only be accepted if the item arrives damaged. Please email julia@booknookshop.co.uk to report and send a photograph of the damage by email. As the title of the book is included in the email once you have confirmed that you would like to receive the book, we will be unable to refund or exchange it. 

Changes to legal notices

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should therefore review them before making any purchase.
