How to Order Books During Lockdown 2.0
It really does feel like we’re stuck in some sort of Groundhog Day, doesn’t it?
Like, every day has the same routine. Every day you have to remind yourself that, oh, wait, you can’t go get coffee or pop to New Look or, even worse, visit your favourite local bookshop.
You just have to stay at home. Safe, but bored.
But wait, there's good news:
You can still buy books at The Book Nook.
Just online, rather than in-store.
With lockdown 2.0 now in full swing, shops like ours really need your help to survive until the end, until Christmas, until the New Year. This is usually our busiest time of the year, and without all our amazing customers popping-in to say hi (yep, you), we need your help in other ways, any way you can!
Check out how you can help us out below:
1) Order your books DIRECTLY from The Book Nook
Using our Click and Collect service, which will operate between Tuesday-Friday from 11am - 2pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to running a limited service, we are unfortunately now unable to take book orders via social media.
If you would like to order with us direct for Click and Collect, you can do this by: * Phoning us Tue-Fri between 11am-2pm on 01920 467597 * Emailing Julia at firstname.lastname@example.org * Using our physical order form outside the shop during opening hours, or you can find it online here
2) Order from our Bookshop.org website.
You can still search for any book and enjoy discounts across most titles.
This is great as a proportion of the profit will go directly to us!
3) Consider signing up to our monthly book subscription service.
This would make an IDEAL self-care treat or gift for book lovers.
We offer a completely personalised service where we get to know what sort of books you like, before sending you a surprise, hand-picked copy of a book we know you'll love.
You can sign up for 3, 6 or 12 months, with subscriptions starting from only £11 a month!
You can find out more by clicking here.
Don’t forget about your friendly, local bookshops! We’re here to help you find your perfect read for those long lockdown days, even if we can’t physically meet you.
Let us know on our Facebook page what you’re most excited about reading during lockdown, by virtually ‘popping-in’ and leaving us a comment.
